    Description:
    This half-day course is a high-level overview of the latest version of the L3Harris grounding and surge suppression
    guidelines. Topics include: lightning basics; site design to minimize susceptibility to lightning damage; site design
    considerations to reduce copper theft; exterior radio tower site grounding; interior single point grounding; AC and
    DC power system grounding; surge suppression types and proper location for maximum effectiveness; brief
    overview of ground system testing; and site grounding preventive maintenance and inspection.

    Target Audience:
    This course is for system and site owners, systems engineers/technicians, radio site installers and maintenance personnel.

    Description:
    This abbreviated course introduces administrators & technicians to fundamental networking concepts for maintaining the VIDA Core and virtual machine infrastructure. The training will be broken down into two sessions: the morning session will be geared towards entry level staff and cover the following topics:
    - P25 Standard Configuration Network Review
    - VIDA Application Server (VAS) and VM power management tasks
    - NSC power up/down procedures
    - VAS Access via remote iDRAC connection
    - Security Update Management Service (SUMS)

    The afternoon session will target advanced level staff and will include the following topics:
    - Failing over to the backup NSC and reverting back to the primary NSC
    - Review various types of backup strategies
    - Network Troubleshooting Utilizing Device Manager & Ansible

    This a 2-day (Thu/Fri 8:30am-4:30pm) hands-on workshop

    Description:
    This training will focus on how to create a radio personality for XL model radios. We will discuss the required sets needed to create P25 Trunked, P25 Conventional and BeOn® radio systems in Radio Personality Manager II. We will also explore the different options that are available in programming to include Voice Annunciation, User Profiles and LTE network configurations to ensure you and your users get the most out your investment.
